Neiguan (PC6): A Simple Acupressure Point for Stress and Motion Discomfort

Neiguan (PC6) is a commonly used acupressure point located on the inner forearm, about three finger-widths above the wrist crease, between the two tendons.

It is traditionally used for stress, anxious feelings, occasional palpitations, trouble falling asleep, and motion discomfort such as car sickness or seasickness.

How to use it:
Turn your palm upward. Measure about three finger-widths up from the wrist crease. Find the area between the two tendons. Use the pad of your thumb to apply firm but comfortable pressure, or massage in small circles for 3–5 minutes. Then switch arms.

A mild, achy sensation is normal. Stop if you feel sharp pain, numbness, or unusual discomfort.
